When does a reduced rate apply with an e-purse balance?
Children up to the age of four travel for free. If it is busy, the little ones can be carried on your lap.
The reduce fare for traveling on a balance is for children four through eleven years old and for seniors 65 years or older.
Traveling with an e-purse with age discount is only possible using a personal OV-chipkaart.
