The only possible diversion route is via the tram 24 route. In addition, after the renovation of the Ferdinand Bolstraat, tram 24 can run on the original route. Thus, it was decided to not have tram 16 in service and put extra trams in service on route 24.
Tram 24 will run more often and with a bolstered timetable. Tram 16 will be out of service until about mid-February.
This means the Haarlemmermeerstation, Valeriusplein, Emmastraat, Jacob Obrechtstraat, Museumplein and Ruysdaelstraat stops will also be out of service for tram 16.
