Work area

Maintenance work

The work will occur in the Van Woustraat and the Rijnstraat between the Lutmastraat and the Vrijheidslaan.

Monday, 29 April through Monday 17 June the tram tracks will be replaced. During this period, the tram lane and the driving lane will be closed to traffic between the Lutmastraat and the Vrijheidslaan.

Work times and noise nuisance

We will work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so that we can finish the work in seven weeks. Certain types of work will cause more of a noise nuisance than other types of work. Most of the work will occur between 07:00 and 23:00.

Welding and grinding work
Welding and grinding work will occur between 22:00 and 06:00. This can cause a noise nuisance if we must work near your home because this work cannot be carried out during the day.
The welding and grinding work schedule is listed at the top of this page.

Accessibility

Car traffic
The driving lane in the city center will be open for traffic. Traffic leaving the city will be diverted. The picture below shows that a part of the street will be closed in the direction leaving the city.
