School day cards​

The GVB day card for schools is a disposable OV-chipkaart for elementary schools, day nurseries and after school care. The card is suitable for supervised school trips and costs € 2 per child. The children and their teachers can use the card all day in GVB trams, buses and metros.

Validity
The day card for schools is valid for 24 hours after the first check in. Within this period there is no limit to the number of transfers between the various GVB routes. Just like with all our products, you must always check in and check out with the card on your journey. The day card for schools is only valid for GVB. Thus, it is not possible transferring to other services like Connexxion or Arriva.

Ordering
The day card for schools is only available and for purchase by registered elementary schools, day nursery and pre and after school care.
Deliveries are Tuesdays and Fridays. Number to order: 50 or multiples of 50. 

Free key cord
GVB provides card holders with key cords on your first order of school day cards. This allows every child to keep their own card on them during the trip.

Fill out the form
Your order is delivered within 10 working days. You will receive an invoice after the passes haven been delivered. This invoice needs to be paid within a month.
