Terms and conditions for transportation
These terms and conditions for transportation have been registered at the district court of ’s-Gravenhage on 29 October 2007 under licence number 82/2007.
These general conditions apply when making use of the urban and regional transport systems and regional transport by train.
The use of public transportation by passengers is controlled by:
- Regulations which have been drawn up from the point of view of protection of the public interest, such as the Transportation of Passengers Act and orders in pursuance thereof. In case of noncompliance with aforementioned regulations there is a possibility of imposing a criminal sanction, such as a penalty;
- Regulations, under which Transport Company is prepared to enter into a transportation agreement with the passenger taking into account the transportation obligation imposed on him. These regulations can be found in the Passenger Transport Act, in the Passenger Transport Provisions, in Book 8 of the Dutch Civil Code and in the following general conditions
