Travel regulations
We want you to get to your destination comfortably and safely. To make the journey as comfortable as possible, we use the statutory recorded transportation conditions.
In addition, GVB also has its own internal regulations. These are based on the Passenger Transport Act art. 70-73, with the intention of ensuring order, peace and security. We kindly ask you to follow the internal regulations and instructions of GVB employees.
Have yourself, your fellow passengers and GVB staff a pleasant trip on our public transportation.

Have a nice trip. We want you to get to your destination comfortably and safely. Therefore, we kindly request you obey our house rules and follow directions from our staff.
- Do not smoke.
- Do not eat or drink.
- Want to take your bicycle? Only when paid for, outside rush hours, and on the metro and IJ tram 26. Put it in the spot for bicycles. (The rush hours are Mon-Fri from 07:00 to 09:00 and from 16:00 to 18:30.
- Put strollers in the intended spot. Or fold them up. A wheelchair takes precedence.
- No feet on the seats.
