Central Amsterdam is a busy place making it hard for day trippers and tourists to find their way around. GVB is bringing in more Service Host workers to provide customers with information about public transportation and answer questions.
GVB is bringing in a team of Service Host workers until Sunday 16 December. This will be a pilot project. From Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to the early evening, the team will be located at the tram and bus station stops at Central Station Oostzijde, Westzijde tram stops, and Prins hendrikplantsoen bus stops.
In addition to providing information about public transportation and disruptions, passengers will also be able to purchase certain hour tickets and pay using a mobile card payment machine.
Of course, passengers can always purchase tickets and get information at the GVB Tickets & Info kiosk on the Stationplein.
